A note

The video presents local and global variables. The version of CoDeSys that we use is basicly configured in a way that in your POU programs you have to refer to your variables that you have in specific variable lists by writing the list name before the variable name. Ex: GVL.motor1. You can easily do so that you do not have to reference the list itself, which means that you can use global variables in the same way as in the video.
