If you want to reference the variable list in the program

Note the picture below. The variable list GVL starts with the text line {attribute 'qualified_only'}. This means that each variable in the programs must specifically refer to this list, see PLC_PRG below (GVL.Button1 and GVL.MotorFWD).

If you do not want to reference the variable list in the program

If you remove the {attribute 'qualified_only'} text line from your variable list, you do not need to refer to this list every time you use a variable in your programs, see PLC_PRG below.
